"No Time"

My week is starting, list in hand, as I shuffle out the door,
I enter the day before me, it feels that I'm at war.

My child says, mom we need to talk, "no time" is what I say,
We have this schedule we must keep, I have "no time" today.

It's time for practice, hurry up, get your stuff we're late,
And after that bubs got a game, so don't make me have to wait.

The day's then gone, it's off to bed, all the chores are done,
That's one day down, but what a dread, the has week just begun.

Does it all sound familiar? Busy lives, it's what the new fad is,
We don't have time to give to God, simply what is His.
.
"No time" for church, "no time" for friends, we have to keep our schedule,
"No time" for family, "no time" to help, "no time" for prayer or vidual.

What a sad state we've fallen in, "no time" or peace of mind,
No love, no fellowship, even God we cannot find.

But what will happen when our days are done? What will our Master say?
"Well done my child...enter in? or I have "no time" today?
