"Snow Days, Snow Creme, Hot Chocolate, and Friends"

Daniel 2: 20,21 "...Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons..."

Wow, what a beautiful snow today. When I woke up this morning I was wondering how I was going to pick up my daughter who was at her friend, Linzi's house. She lives on an off county road. It's not looking good that I will get her today with about 8" of snow and no 4-wheel drive...

It really made me think about the snow days I had when I was growing up. It was really lots of fun. I figure that Haley and her friend are happy to be stuck together. I can remember the times I spent at my friend, Rebecca's house. We went sledding across the field, ate icicles from her gutters, made snow creme, drank hot chocolate, played cards, and clue. I remember how I always thought it was so cool that she made hamburgers on the gas grill in the middle of the winter snow. We didn't have a gas grill at my house so we only grilled in the summer. What fun times hour after hour.

Now my children are making their snow day memories. My how time has passed. Mark and Mark Anthony have been out sleigh riding on a table top and a tote lid and shoveling the driveway, now, they've came in to have some hot chocolate...

Enjoy your snow days. God is the God of all seasons! Have some friends over and make some snow day memories along the way!
