Have you ever seen someone who looks like they've lost their best friend? Maybe they have, did you ever think to ask?
Ecc. 4;9,10 says..."Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow, but woe to him that is alone when he falleth for he hath not another to help him up."
Friendship is so important. A true friend shares your joy, heartaches, and lifts you up when you're down. I feel women do a good job at sharing their lives with each other. But I feel men are different. They don't share their feelings. I believe it is somewhat because of pride or the macho syndrome. But remember, pride cometh before a fall.
*Side note: I think it would do a marriage good for wives to let their husbands vent sometimes without taking it personal. Because sometimes they don't share the things that are bothering them with other people. Maybe think about being a friend for a moment in time and put all differences aside, lift up your fellow.
Do you have a friend you can laugh with? cry with? share with? If you do thank God for them today. They are such a great blessing in your life. If you don't have that friend, pray that God will send you a true friend today. One that will help you up and make you a better person.
