"Live Peaceably With All Men"

Romans 12: 18 "If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men."

Wow, that's hard to do sometimes. Have you ever had someone do you wrong? Maybe a friend, a spouse or child? Sometimes it's hard to take. We immediately try to think of some way we can pay that person back for the wrong they did to us.

That only makes the situation worse. Feelings get hurt and hearts get broken. The next time someone does you wrong, overcome evil with good and try and live peaceably with all men.

"Live Peaceably With All Men"
The other day I had a friend who didn't treat me right,
She lied to me and called me names and then she wanted to fight.
I got so mad, then stopped to think, what good would it do,
I'll turn the other cheek instead and just be nice to you.
To my surprise, my friend just stopped and with a tearful eye,
Said, "your my friend, I'm sorry," then we both began to cry.
A friendship shouldn't cease so fast because of evil an deed,
If I hadn't turned the other cheek our friendship would not succeed.
So the next time someone does you wrong, consider what's at cost,
Whether it's family or a friendship, you don't want it lost.
Sometimes it takes some patience, but I'll promise in the end,
Life is so much better when you live peaceably with all men.
