"Love...Something Everyone Needs"

Love...it's something everyone needs...

A little over 23 years ago I found the love of my life. Mark Campbell, a boy I'd known all of my life, stepped into my world of "love". As we grew up, my heart wasn't so fond of him. Although we were at some of the same places at the same time on our journey of life, we didn't quite see eye to eye on many things. But God in His sweet timing brought us together in life. We were married May 27, 1988.

Our life together has it's ups and downs, small and BIG decisions, heartaches and mountains to climb, but it has also been filled with lots of love, adventures, laughter, mountain tops, and friendship. When all seems but gone, love is always abounding. It conquers all.

But there is also another kind of love that I can't go with mentioning. It is the love that Jesus Christ has for me.

Romans 5:8 says, "But God commendeth His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

I was lost in my sins and Jesus Christ chose me to love. He died on the cross for me and loves me with an everlasting love. In my Christian walk, I have many ups and downs, mountains and valleys, but he loves me just the same. I am so glad that His love can overlook all my faults and failures. The least I can do is serve Him.

I am so thankful today for my husband, but I am also so thankful for the love of Jesus Christ.
Rejoice in the Lord today, for He is good.
